Food Inc: Part 2 blog

Today, there are basically no slaughter houses. There used to be thousands of them, but now there is only thirteen. Now there are companies, companies try to remove pathogens but they end up spreading them out. Plants that have contamination problems and do not pass have to be shut down. Each step in efficiency lead to problems. Now they do not try to solve problems by hand, they try to high tech fix it, which is not good because things end up going wrong. As a cause of this, ecoli has been a big problem. There was a child in the movie that bleed when he used the bathroom due to having chemological ecoli. Since all meat and regular produce has "add-ons." So therefore, people go to organic products which has become a growing production. Many people may go to buy organic foods but all the rest go to local fast food restaurants because it is cheaper and it has what people want; salt, fat, and sugar. I think that we have to find solution rather then having all these companies producing our food. they cause too many problems. It is expensive to farm, but many more people should being to do so. It is more expensive to go out and get cured from ecoli then to have your own farm. It's so crazy how all these things are hidden from people and you find out when it's too late.
